Over my 40 years of professional experience as a writer and editor, my greatest joy is still to make writing come to life.

Whether I'm writing from scratch or editing a manuscript, report, or proposal, my goal is always to engage the reader with prose that's hard to put down. Yes, you can use AI to write a serviceable document, but what happens to the essentially human elements of wit, beauty, and care about the outcome? Many AIs write in corporate-speak, causing boredom and disengagement.
